Spelling Homework Policy:

1.  Monday:  Spelling definitions 1-10 (find the definitions in the glossary).

2.  Tuesday: Spelling definitions 11-20 (find the definitions in the glossary).

3.  Wednesday:  Spelling Worksheet.

4.  Thursday:  Sentences- Write ten spelling sentences using the spelling words, or copy the twenty sentences from the unit.  Study for the spelling test on Friday.

5.  Friday:  Spelling Test.  Make a cover sheet and staple your spelling packet.

*Your spelling homework will be checked everyday and stamped if completed.  You will turn in all of your spelling homework (as a packet) on Fridays.  If all of your homework is stamped you will receive full credit, homework that is not stamped will receive partial credit.  If you are absent it is your responsibility to have all of the work in by Friday. 

Extra Credit:  Current Events

Every Monday and Wednesday we will be receiving the "Pajaronian" Newspaper in our class.  I would like to offer an extra credit assignment involving current events.  If you would like to do the assignment, you may take a newspaper home to complete the assignment.

Instructions for the Current Event Assignment:

1.  Ask Ms. Borbolla for a copy of the newspaper.

2.  Read the articles from the paper and choose one to report on.
